Hi! I’m Hannah, a writer and editor in New York. Currently, I’m the Special Projects Director at SELF Magazine, where I manage features, covers, awards franchises, and columns.
More from my mixed bag: I’ve held positions at Rolling Stone, Marie Claire, and FADER. I performed in a Moth StorySlam. I edited our cover story on Olivia Munn and booked and edited our viral exclusive on Remi Bader’s health journey. I went to Colombia to write about women-focused group travel and I interviewed Selma Blair about beauty and illness. I spoke to Jane Fonda about vaping and being alone. I founded the Sleeping With column for SELF, where I interviewed people like Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, and Billy Porter. I launched the brand’s Well-Read Book Club, alongside several other tentpoles like the annual Pantry Awards. (You can see my portfolio here.)
My work has been twice-nominated for the National Magazine Awards and featured in the New York Times, Bookforum, and several times on the TODAY Show. I have appeared on podcasts, as a guest on Good Day New York, and spoken at the New School’s writing program. For four years, I hosted the original Writing Club, a silent working hour for creatives on Zoom.
